About the Homework
It is very
important that you understand the homework problems. Discussing with other
students is encouraged as long as you really understand what you are doing.
Homework will be posted Mondays at
6PM (starting Jan. 8) and will be due on Mondays at 2pm (starting Jan. 15).
The homework assignments must be
completed online, using your WebAssign card that may
be purchased in the bookstore or online. (You can start right now and have a
week time to buy the card!)
To login in the WebAssign page you will need to know your:
username: your last name
institution: Howard
password: last 4 # of your ID
For example, if you are Bush,
Laura your username is: bush
The problems are selected from
the book, use the examples and summary of each chapter
as a guide.
You will be able to see all the
problems once you login.
Once you worked a problem out,
write your answer in the box and hit submit. If your answer was wrong you will be
told so and will have the opportunity to revise your answer. A total of 5
attempts are allowed per question.
You can save your work, logout
and finish at a later time.
