BIO: I was born in Bahía Blanca, Argentina, I studied physics at the University of Buenos Aires where I obtained my  PhD in 1995. Afterwards I worked in the Physics Department at the University of Buenos Aires six more years, and  was a  researcher of CONICET. In 2002 I moved to the US, to work at the Physics Department of the Pennsylvania State University, as a visiting professor. At the end of  2004 I moved to Washington,  worked in the Computational Materials Science Center at George Mason University where I am an affiliate faculty. In August 2005 joined  the Department of Physics and Astronomy of Howard University .
